5:30 AM – Rise and Shine
The day starts early at Thompson Plumbing, Heating & AC. After my morning coffee and a quick breakfast, I check my service schedule for the day. Our dispatch team has already organized the routes efficiently to help as many Kansas City residents as possible.
7:00 AM – First Call of the Day
I arrive at our facility to stock my service vehicle with common parts and supplies. During winter months like these, we’re especially busy with heating system calls. Every minute counts when someone’s furnace isn’t working.

- Preventive maintenance
- Emergency repairs
- System installations
- Customer education
12:30 PM – Midday Update
Lunch breaks are flexible, depending on emergency calls. Today, I’m enjoying a quick sandwich between jobs while updating service records. Being thorough with documentation helps our entire team provide consistent service.
4:30 PM – Wrapping Up
The satisfaction of restoring comfort to homes makes this job rewarding. Whether it’s fixing a broken water heater or maintaining a complex HVAC system, each day brings unique challenges and opportunities to help our community.
Every service call is different, but our commitment to professional service remains constant. We take pride in representing Thompson Plumbing, Heating & AC and ensuring our neighbors stay comfortable year-round.
